The approach
Narrow on purpose.
A tool that tries to cover the whole job ends up covering none of it particularly well, and every contractor already owns one of those. Ridgecap products are small enough to be finished.
The original document is never destroyed
Whatever a subcontractor sends you is kept exactly as it arrived. Ridgecap adds structure around a document; it never edits or replaces the thing itself.
Your data exports whole
Everything you put in comes back out, in one piece, whenever you ask for it. A closeout package that can only be read inside the software that built it isn't a closeout package.
Useful before it's finished
Each product has to earn its place standing on its own, with no integration configured and no rollout plan. If it needs a project to become useful, it isn't narrow enough yet.
Who it's for
Mid-size general contractors.
Big enough that the paperwork is a real job for a real person, small enough that nobody is going to buy an enterprise platform and spend six months configuring it. If closeout currently lives in one project engineer's inbox, that's the situation these products were built around.
